Dr. Negar Bayat, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Bayat is an adult psychiatrist with fellowship in addiction. She has more than 20 years experience working as a physician. She was a practicing family physician for several years before becoming a psychiatrist. Her focus now is to combine a family medicine background with psychiatry training in order to be the catalyst that ignites transformation and unlocks new opportunities for patients struggling with attention problems. Her goal is to help individuals conquer challenges, embrace possibilities, and create brighter futures.

Dr. Bayat is a faculty member at University of British Columbia. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Royal College of physicians and Surgeons of Canada to practice in Psychiatry.

Azadeh (Azi) is a dedicated and experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor with over a decade of expertise in providing evidence-based treatments for adults navigating complex mental health challenges. She has been working in outpatient psychiatric programs with Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health.

She has MA in psychology and experienced with testing and scoring psychometric assessments for depression, anxiety, ADHD as well as memory through the Montreal Cognitive assessment.
